Finding the Puzzle Pieces
Hey there everyone I was having a bit of a problem with Chaos on Deponia, I keep hearing mention of this mystical puzzle pieces but I cannot seem to find anything related to it. I have heard that I need to consult the game manual to find out what to do, except for the fact that the Steam version does not come with a manual, or I just simply cannot locate it, I hope that someone can help me out on this I really want to know what the puzzle pieces do. BTW people who made this game freaking rock, I love adventure games and I just absolutely love the setting and people on deponia

This video shows where they all are:

On the other hand that doesn't unlock the pin up goal achievement, so I have no idea what triggers it.

Blackwolf, thanks for the vid.

I heard Pinup Goal might come from completing the rumored "Jaguar Mode" -- ? Anyone know anything about it?

I have no idea what Jaguar Mode is.

it is Leopard Mode, no idea how to unlock it or if it's even real.

i bet you get “cheater” when doing it by loading savegames, and “pin up goal” by doing it in the process of one playthrough.

does “new game” reset the puzzle?

no new game does not reset it, and yes I got both achievements actually.

how? did you get them while loading different parts of the game and clicking them or within a continuous playthrough?
Sliced_Toast Nov 14, 2012 @ 1:59pm
no actually I got it by going to the junk dealer area, and all I did was just constantally clicked on the area where the puzzle piece "was" when I first collected it. It was no longer there however it still made the "item get" noise when I clicked on the space where it occupied, just do that till the achievment pops up and viola, all done :).

For people who don't want to watch the German video, here's a quick text-based location walkthru I put together for my "Pinup Goal" attempt (all in one playthrough):

PUZZLE PIECE LOCATIONS
--
01. Outside Doc's workshop, upper shelf center
02. Bar, low shelf right of Goal
03. Platypus cafe, salt/pepper shaker on dining table
04. Janosch's hideout, bottom-left of game board
05. Gadget Shop, above banana straightener
06. Bozo's Cutter (ch1), top right corner of screen in background
07. Doc's Workshop, at desk on left
08. Marketplace, counter between Bellevue and Dark Alley entrances
09. First screen of Isla Watchit, dark area middle-right in the midst of the junk
10. Second screen of Isla Watchit, left of the poster showing the tower in red
11. Porta Fisco main screen, just left of the entrance to the guard area (with the tires)
12. Porta Fisco relationship expert, just above Rufus' head when he first walks in

Writing here to confirm what others have experienced. If you got the "Cheater" achievement, you can't get "Pinup Goal" just by getting all the pieces in one save file. It looks like you have to erase your entire profile and clear the puzzle pieces out of the "Bonus" main menu.

I'm leaving a comment for Io and doing all I can to see that this gets fixed. That's a ridiculous, nigh impossible requirement.
