In that case I probably will wait for a sale.
EDIT: Admittedly, part of the reason I found the games so challenging was that I only found out you can hold down mouse 3 to highlight all interactable objects AFTER I'd already beaten both games. Several times I got stuck because I didn't realise there was a small object I needed to interact with (like the fisherman's hook jar next to his bait bucket).
Rufus is the only character that gets enough screen time to judge, and I will not consider him two-dimensional, otherwise, he will not have the short of dilema he´s into since the first game. And Goal does have three personas, ok the three of them are pretty much cliches, but she´s the combination of those three personas, not just one of them.
I´m pretty surpraise at some people reviews and opinions for this awesome adventure game. My complains are about glitches, obscure puzzles sometimes, an achievement system a little bit weird since there are cheevos trully hard to figure it out how to get them ... don´t share any of your opinions to be honest.
And that "easy puzzles" complain. Most of them are pretty easy in the first part, not so in the second one, but seriously, this is kind of Monkey Island 2 Monkey Wrench short of solution sometimes, it´s not as easy as "use key in locke" all the friking time, some puzzles LACK of any logic sometimes. The only way it may come as easy for you it´s probably because you start to try and miz everything in the inventory and put every item on every place on the map, THAT WAY? Yes, every single adventure game is pretty easy when you do that, eventually you´re going to get it right. But considering only all the adventure games there are in Steam, I will never consider this one as one of the easiers.
