edit: just tried on second computer (both Win7) and had the same problem. Oddly the "skip puzzle" prompt is in German, even though language is set to English
Can you say what configuration options did you choose?
Sorry, not sure exactly what you're asking. I had it set to mousewheel for inventory access, full screen and everything else was default with text and voice set to english. Started a brand new game, not just loading a previous save.
Oh, one other thing i never did was alt-tab to desktop, which i guess could be a culprit.
I did set my second monitor, an older 60 Hz-device as primary display and it works. Thanks :)
Game design. If they didn't specifically design the game for high refresh rates, you'll sometimes see weirdness when you go above 60 FPS or so as the game just can't put out more frames and still stay synced with everything else. It's mostly trial and error.
