Aragorn's Quest - Team Needed

Hello RPG Makers!! I am in the process of developing a game. It's called Aragorn's Quest - The Return of Arnor. It's a what-if Lord of the Rings story, as in this story, Frodo hides the Ring, and even Gandalf does not know he has it, and Gollum is not captured by Sauron, who does not know where the Ring is. Aragorn decides that, in order to eliminate the threat of Angmar and the Orcs of the Misty Mountains once and for all, he must refound the Northern Kingdom of Arnor, under his rule. I am pretty well-versed in the Lord of the Rings, and I want to make this the best LOTR RPG out there.

The map will span from west to east, the Ered Luin to Dol Guldur. North to south will be from Angmar to Tharbad.

In order for this game to be completed, as I surely cannot do it all, and balance it all alone, I'm gonna need a team. All team members will be rewarded with beta-tests, their names in the credits and description, and also will be given a character cameo based off of them in the many cities of the game. honestly, and please don't take this the wrong way, but unless you were willing to hire people and pay them, i doubt you'll find more than a few people willing to do it for what you offered.

I know that. However, I'm also hoping that there are out there, people who would want to see a perfect Tolkien game. This game, if complete will be ABSOLUTELY FREE, and that's why I'm not willing to pay to get this game going. I really an just looking for a few people to make this happen, for the good of seing a great game happen.

Just because something will be free in the end doesn't mean that people will take time out of their day to make scripts, movies, etc. for free. Also, and once again don't take this the wrong way, but how would they know that said game is a perfect game or that they would see a great game happen? In order to back up the claims, you'd need to show everyone that your game has potential to be as perfect and great as you say.

You're right. Right now I'm trying to iron out the story, and maybe then I'll bump this thread with some other previews. Truthfully, I have looked at other LOTR RPGs, and I've felt something was missing from them. The Lord of the Rings has vast, huge envirnments, many differents lands with different cultures, many intricate characters, but only Third Age Total War and it's submods come close to that scope and scale. What I want is a huge land to explore, with many different lands and people to meet, one where, although you are important, it's not all about you. A random event might have Elrond sent you to the Undertowers to meet with Cirdan. Yes there will be a story, but there also will be so much else to enjoy, and feel the splendour and grandour of Tolkien's Realm. Thanks for the advice, I'll return to this when I have some previews and explanations!

Its awesome you are doing this (I have no skill in this stuff) you should go make a YT vid and post this on other forums. Good luck.
