@amerk: It is a quite detailed document, at times maybe too much so, people might get a bit lost with it. That said, it's got over 130k views on scribd now, so the fact that I was able to help those people is great enough. :)

There's some really great video tutorials that have come out since I made it, too.

yeah... but it really is like a bible to all that use RPG Maker....

I'm quite sure that most of people who started making video tutorials were also begining with this guide

I appreciate anyone who found my guide useful, so thank you. That said, I've got some complaints about downloading from scribd, as you need a membership. I do have a link to the sample game and .pdf file but not everyone sees that. Does anyone know where I could put a pdf up so it's viewable and downloadable easily?

For PDF files, it can be viewed in the browser, and there's a Download button as well.

You could upload both the sample game and guide together in the Workshop - Maybe give it a distinct name so people know it's not just another game but an actual tutorial.
