sapphire action system iv

If someone knows anything about sapphire action system iv please let me know. I need help with it. I dont want to hear, copy past code, or u have to config files and never tell me what it is im config. Heres what i have done so far. I have copied and paste all file scripts to my project i also went three data base to see what i am missing and went threw the codes to see what i needed to change. I read the files of how to transfer everything over. However 1 of 2 things happeneds when i play with game. 1 where says new game in main menu. U click that. It stays there never moves. Jist stays at menu playing the bg music. Or if i put my player in a house i made. The game will work. But the system will not. And when i walk out the door to go outside. The game turns black and stays black. If someone have teamspeak ir skype be easier to explain and talk. I need help please help me out. I am learning this stuff, idk much bout coding or config. Much just someone please help. And dont be a jerk bout it. Show respect as i will show it back. Thanks

• First: if you don't know much about code then you've jumped into the deep end with SAS4.
• Second: It seems that you are freezing the game with the the menu. What are all of the script that you have as one of them may be conflicting.
  
• Third: Once you have gotten to the house do you turn on the system by activating the switch you designated in the config?
  
• Fourth: I will tell you that you "have to config files" because 80% of the time the error is caused by a lack of understanding on what you are changing in the config. The reason I wont tell you what it is that you need to do is because everything is documented clearly in the script. That and the fact that I can't tell you what is wrong without your files in front of me.

Like I said with my first point; you've jumped into the deep end here and may be drowning. If you can't understand what the instructions say then work on some smaller code until you can understand. Perhaps even learn some Ruby as that is what Ace is written on.

Neither of these are SAS problems.

One, you can click as much as you want, RM VX Ace games are not mouse-controlled unless you implemented it with an appropriate script.

Two, commonly caused by the improper use of fadeouts without fadeins.

I was looking for the documents in the foldee when i downloaded it. But didnt see any, i am learning from google and youtube, most ppl i see has a pdf file that tells them how to do things but in the folder i downloaded dint have that. I been trying to learn ruby but idk where to start or look. I tend to jump into deep ends, idk why i do that. Its like when i frist learn play the guitar. No one tought me. And im doing the same here now. But every video i look at either they skipped 5 steps ahead or dont explain at all.

The files i copied and moved over was (sapphire action system, sas iv -hud, sas iv-damage sprites,sas iv- heal player, and multiple actors,) then i went into data base and change everything to what the demo has. Other then that, thats what i got so far from ppls videos on youtube and forums from google. And like i said i see ppl having a file sas iv.pdf. but i dont see that in the files i downloaded. If i could snap a pic to show u i would. Heres what i see in the folder i downloaded. From top to bottom. (Audio,Data,Graphics,movies,system,game.exe,game.ini and game.rvproj2. Thats all i have. If ur willing to send me a link to a ruby thing u said. Id be happy to check it out please and thanks

Hey bud. Idk where u got the mouse -contol at. I dont want that at all. Maybe later but not right now. Also what do u mean by fadeouts? I didnt miss with any of that. Did i miss something? Sorry im just not understanding.

In most cases with VxAce, instructions for using an extra (non-default) script is within the script itself, typically towards the top portion and as comments.

And, I think where you had posted "U click that. It stays there never moves." is where it was thought you were trying to click with your mouse, as when referring to computers or software the term "click" usually means a mouse click.

After un-zipping it, there is a PDF included, and opening the demo in VxAce all the required scripts are in place and some instructions also within the scripts itself.

Carefully look over all the instructions and how it's setup in the demo and you should be able to figure out how to then use it on your own project.
