I think this question was already asked few bazillion times. Why don't you use the forum search?

I've searched over the forums but how they describe doing it and adding the new tiles and the taller sprites is like some foreign korean speaking to me and me not understanding

Then learn to speak this korean and read it again. If I try to explain how it will still sound foreign to you

The XP Charsize fits into the Ace System. Maybe you want to take a look at those.
Converted and ready to use.

you can make your sprites as big as you want. you just need to use the base template for the sprites. i draw my sprites on paper, scan them, then use photoshop to resize/add transparancy. when saving the character, make sure that it is only a spriteset of 1 character facing 4 directions with no extra space. next save as a .png with the name of $bob or something but make sure the $ is the first letter. then import it. the template consists of 4 rows and 3 columbs... no more no less. for the facing directions look at the sprites the program gives you. beware, if you start changing character sizes then you have to make everything else to scale unless you're trying to make Gulliver in lilyput

below is one of my characters i am using in my game on greenlight it's called The Rallious Chronicles Volume 1. if you want, you can use it as a template but you cannot use the character itself. besides i don't think you'd want to use the character anyway cuz it looks kinda awful imo. and yes i drew this and is only in a small part of my game, my others look better

ps. ignore everything except the picture of the sprite on that site
