RPGMAKER ACE RTP not installed.

My software will not launch and that's the message I get

Why is this not included in the Steam download? The program used to open for me before but just moved to a new PC and now I have to go to an external download page to get it just to start. Not a big earth-shattering deal for me but it makes it look like an error and will discourage new users I think.

yeah you're right on that but iiiii dont really think it will discourage new users.
its from their main site and its about 90 mb or so no big deal.
And its only needed when someone launches a seperate game ( compressed ) that was compressed without rtp data

SOLUTION: It is only missing a registry entry.

1. Right-click on your desktop and hit New - Text Document.
2. Name the file "Fix.reg", confirm the extension change.
3. Right-click on Fix.reg and click Edit to open it with Notepad.
4. Copy-paste these seven lines into the file in Notepad:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Enterbrain\RGSS3\RTP]
"RPGVXAce"="C:\\Program Files\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\RPGVXAce\\rtp"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Enterbrain\RGSS3\RTP]
"RPGVXAce"="C:\\Program Files\\Steam\\SteamApps\\common\\RPGVXAce\\rtp"

5. Replace the paths specified with the actual path to your RPGVXAce\rtp directory (note the double-backslashes), save the file and close Notepad.
6. Double-click Fix.reg on your desktop and click Yes, then OK.
7. Delete Fix.reg

Thanks for the help, my friend wanted test my game but without RTP the game ask him to install RTP first lol, and.. it take 188mb of disk space for include crypted RTP to a .exe setup of a game RPG Maker VX Ace..

Some times an installed RTP can conflict with games that have the RTP data.
