Walking Animation Issue/Glitch?
Hey everyone, so I'm completely new to RPG Maker, I've managed to pick up most of the basics relatively quickly. However, I've encountered a problem with the walking animation in game.

Let's say that I am walking east. So I hold down the right arrow key, and walk right. Afterwards, I want to walk south. My character will walk right for one more square/block before walking south. This goes for all the directions (up down left right). With each direction, the character moves one block in the previous direction before taking up the new direction.

I've looked everywhere and even searched online, but I can't find the source of the problem. Can someone please help?

1. Does your character come to a complete stop before you press the new key?

2. Do you have any custom scripts added to your game?

3. Enter the database by pressing F9 or clicking on it's button, select the "System" tab. At the top right of the tab are 7 check boxes. Are "Show Player Followers" or "Transparent ON" checked or unchecked?

Oh of course! Thanks for solving the issue, it was because Show Player Followers was on. Since I'm only map testing at the moment, I only had one character, never even considered changing that part. Awesome!

If you got it fixed up I'm glad. Did you have an invisible hero or something?

Yea I had an invisible hero, because I was following a guide for an opening screen, and then added a second Hero when the game actually starts, so came to be two heroes (one invis following I think lol)

Interesting outcome of that Constelation. Funny :)

That's pretty much what it sounded like when I thought about it, that's why I tossed in that third question. Like I said, glad you figured it out. :)
