What i do.
I make maps named @_City_1 for instance.
I use @ in the begining so i wont be confused.
A map with @ at the begining of its name, is a Container (my declaration)
and is always blank!
Thus I do things like:
See the HOUSE 3?
Its a mistake!
It belongs elsewhere.
Drag and drop it on parent folder.
What is the parent here?
You guessed it!
@Island_A is!
Then Drag and drop it into TOWN where it belongs.
It is like when I get on top, instead of getting above current map folder the world gets into the town :S
I really shuffled and juggled a lot about that one. Now I have to plan my worlds BEFORE figuring out I need some new parts. Even if I don't need the planned layer map in the end.
Well... Maybe I need also a little planning course. I mean I like to do credits maps :P
Cut paste the rest of the maps, under the woorld map.
Then use cut paste to put maps under others.
Here is how:
Click on a map.
Select cut.
click on parent map.
Right click and paste.
Well, with all the tools we have in there we can't ask for all. After all at least it will learn us the fine art top plan STRAIGHT ahead before cut and paste patching maps.
(I sometimes surprize myself to growl in event layer to not be able to repaste a huge room tile selection I just drawn or just sweating using the square tool on the right layer thinking it is the pencil for that paste >.< )
