Question on RTP download vs RPGMVXAce

Hey learned folks,
I've read a bunch of posts but I'm still not 100% positive on the following; I own VXAce, so do I need to download the RTP from RPGMakerWeb.com? Is there any difference / advantage? Is the RTP download, the same as the RTP built into Ace?

Am I correct in thinking that the download exists so that folks who don't own a version of RPGM can play non-compiled games made in RPGM?

Look at the compiler options. Games can be compiled with the RTP content excluded. For playing those the user needs to install the RTP

He could also try to make his Game RTP Free. If i participate in IGMC2015 i will get rid of
rtp Data, need just few of it and i want a smal Game size without unused Data for Contest.

Thanks folks. I saw this and read it a couple times but I still wasn't sure if that came with RPGMVXAce. I think I get it now. The RTP is a huge set of assets, correct? I was confused and thinking about it as an engine, not a huge data pack (more or less). I think I have it now.

Still, from the above link: "So please ensure to install this RTP before you install RPG MAKER VX Ace. Using this RTP, you can reduce the total size of your game files created with VX Ace."

Does this mean that I should uninstall RGPGMAce, install RTP, and then reinstall the maker? I just want to make sure I have everything installed that I am going to need to make a game. I know that I can package the game for users with or without the RTP, but am I MISSING any assets or anything important by NOT having installed RTP?

Sorry for my mental block on this. Thanks as always for your help.

The full RTP is included when you install RMVXAce. There is no difference between it and the standalone RTP.
