Can you make a game like Final Fantasy 4 PSP version with RPG Maker VX Ace?

I have been a fan of FF4 specially the psp version, and i really wanted to recreate somehow a game like that.

should just use the newest versions, mv or mz.
ace is still the one i liked best, because the pop in out scripts are easier

the engine for ace is pretty much aimed at ff 1 - 6, so yes maybe

Hey bro thank you, I'm actually getting the MZ since its on sale right thanks for the response! :FistGNZ:

ive tried all 3, the newest one is pretty good, MZ, ace is just so outdated
but it has tons of scripts online scattered in broken outdated links
MZ can also export the game, onto your phone.

ace is not outdated. it just needs someone who knows how to use it. the product reflects the user. not the overall quality or dating.

it's certainly old, but it would be a hard argument to say "outdated"
