Tall sprites
RPG Maker VX Axe has extremely short sprites. I feel like my rpgs would feel much more immersive with taller sprites. How do I make tall, pixelated sprites?

I typically use Second Story sprites now. I use Game Character Hub for my sprites and the Second Story DLC is available for that. Of course, it has a selection of clothing and such in the resource pack, since the normal VX Ace sprite clothing won't fit (but could be modified with a little work).
By making the sprite sheet proportionally taller. Exactly as it is done with the tall sprites that come with the software.

If you own RPG Maker XP you could use the RTP Resources as kind of DLC.
You can get RMXP very cheap on Steam Sales.
Here someone Edited them so 8 Actors fit on one Charset Picture. Just a few errors, the rest is 1 to 1 Copy Paste.

You can find the Original RMXP RTP in the Download Section of www.rpgmakerweb.com.
Or when you buy it to use it as DLC for your Projects, than it is in the Steam Folders.

Edit:
The RMXP Resources are very old and nearly every Actor just got a grey back/behind leg. But there are many nice ones, specialy the Animals and Monsters.
Maybe useful for on Map Encounters?
