However, in cases where you don't want the door to actually open, certain graphics will 'turn' to face the player when activated, similar to how an NPC will turn to face the PC when spoken to. This occurence is most often seen with events with graphics from the C tileset and such, where when you click on them, they seem to turn into a completely different item.
You can set Direction Fix On to prevent this from happening. If you do, and you plan to have to door open later, such as after a quest or the PC finds the key, make sure that the Set Move Route command which 'opens' the door, starts with a Direction Fix Off.
