Just installed the Black Box and Combined Arms mods and I'm loving them. I came across some Remnant forces and decided to capture one of the ships, so I sent ~25 missile fighters as fodder and to distract them and a group of ~30 troops to board and capture. it was just one Heavy Drone and two xenos fighters (I was going for the drone). That one drone took out every one of my ships. the troops never even got close.

With this mod, is it no longer possible to board and capture ships, or am I doing something wrong?

blacbox has boarding yes and is expanded in scope and result. CA remnants have very strong anti fighter/missile point defense. might want to jump on our discord and ask the question of CA players. there are some very experienced players there that can help you with strategy and tactics.
