For the workers and tools, some planters require 2 or 3 workers with the use tool ability checked.
For the storages, try it much like the manure storage. If you have let's say 25k wheat to take off a field, you need to have at least 25k in silo space. If you only want to keep 15k set the silo to keep 15k and set the rest to autosell. You have to have enoughj space for any materials you take off the field wether or not you plan on selling. I only keep what I need and have the rest on autosell so my storages and logistics never are completely full with stuff I don't want or use.
Oh, and if you're on the Going Green chapter and you've spent all that time growing organic cabbage and cucumber, once you've harvested it the game takes you on a detour, raising ostriches on organic food and getting organic ostrich eggs. By the time you create the seeds, plant the fields, harvest the crops and get enough eggs, the organic cabbage and cucumber are spoiled and you've either sold them or lost them. Only then does the game quest "Sell organic cucumber and cabbage" appear!!.
And now it's just told me the wheat that I put in the silo two months ago is about to spoil, thereby missing the entire point of putting grain in a silo in the first place.
I'm still persevering with this, because when it works it's fun, and I hate being defeated by a game. But it's very frustrating at times.
