Is Dracula Boss invincible?

When I get to his fight I deal 1/3 of his health bar quickly then he spawns 2 clones and they all stop taking damage. Am I being stupid? Is there some sort of complicated weapon combo I have to use?

Be close to them and just unload. Took me so long to kill 'em i had to run away from Death for 13 minutes..

You have to kill the clones first, and they don't take damage if you're too far away. The clones protect Dracula.
