I've tried to replicate this issue with no success. My character and artifacts are staying the same after I finish the run and return to the menu.
Can you please give me the steps to replicate the issue?
Thank you.
I boot the game, my character is reset. I swap over to Paladin, equip my relics and constellations, play a game. When finished and I return to the main menu, the Scout is selected and all my stuff is unequipped. I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling and see if that fixes it. thank you.
If all of those are current, Sterilize your files by going to steam client, right click, properties, browse local files and delete the entire game directory.
Go to steam client and verify files. (This will cause a download)
Sometimes the steam client itself can bug and corrupt files that it then cannot fix via typical verify and itll cause bugs like you describe.
Hope this helps!
What’s happening here is that, for some reason, when you go back to the menu, your character automatically changes to Scout while retaining the artifacts of the previous character. I believe these artifacts won’t work with the Scout, so it’s likely a visual bug. To avoid this, you’ll need to manually switch characters and artifacts each time you are automatically changed to Scout.
We are still investigating the root cause of this issue and hope to resolve it soon.
If you could send me your save files, it would greatly help us in identifying and fixing the problem. You can send your entire Vampire Hunters folder to: contact@gamecraftstudios.com
It's located here: C:\Users<your_username>\AppData\LocalLow\Gamecraft Studios\Vampire Hunters
Thank you!
