We appreciate the suggestions! We'll definitely try them out!
Cheers!
ps: It's awesome to hear that you love Vampire Hunters!
My suggestion would be to make the soul drops less random, especially at start of the classic mode. Sometimes I am lvl 2 two minutes into the game, sometimes I get a lvl up before I get any gold. This is on reborn 4 with maxed gold, soul, luck upgrades.
Also, turn off the mind reading of the item rng. I swear the game knows what I want and does it's best not to give it to me.
While i was playing Vampire Hunters yesterday i had a few more thoughts on ideas for the update ill list them below.
1. Constelation that increases enemy damage. i know we already have that with cetus, hydra and one i forgot the name off lol but with those constelations the HP off the enemies is also increased. i think if only damage is increased it would give the game more difficulty custumization options.
2. Constelation that dubbels the amount of bosses that spawn (if that is possible gamewise offcourse)
3. When it comes too map design inspiration may i recommend Unreal tournament 1999. There are a lot off cool maps in that game that can serve as inspiration for cool Vampire Hunting grounds ;) Deck 16 any one!? or Facing worlds, Quake 3 arena also has incredible maps.
in any case these are just some ideas i wanted too share with you guys.
Hope all at the studio have a great weekend and mother's day.
Cheers! and much love!
UT1999 is an oldie that not many people will remember :) Weren't half of the maps somewhere in space, with teleporters, jump pads and low gravity, so that you didn't fall to your doom all the time? Would be bad match for this game. Some would work for sure, with bit of tweaks, but you can't go around ripping off other creative works.
