How to properly use Bless?
The "Bless" effect is pretty much the only one I can't quite understand how to use. So it creates a healing aura on an enemy, but:
- its a small radius, just barely outside of the range to get hit
- the healing is slow, so you have to stay within the radius for a decent amount of time
- it disappears when the enemy is killed, so its really only functional on elites/bosses
- some of the weapons that use Bless are long range, so you're already well outside the radius

All of these make it so I'm ignoring Bless on every run now, it ends up being more dangerous to try and get that heal than to just keep your distance instead. I really wish it persisted after enemy death just for a little bit.

Use slow effects and stand near tanky enemies or, above them on stairs/platform. Aura doesnt care about height and you can heal to full just farming enemies this way.
Kite with Cryo
Stand above them
Easy heals.

(It seems nothing is immune to cryo slow but some are immune to its full freeze effect. It even works on those yellow hp bar enemies.)

There are also enemies in the game like the Oni warriors; theyll run up, stand there, swipe with sword and you can just sidestep and keep them standing there for all time. There are a few ways to kinda cheese the bless heal and- so far its the strongest heal ive found outside of the boomerang-crossbow just because it has 24/7 up time if I want to. (Outside of bosses short of Slayme or hopping totem fellow.)
That said, its VERY particular kiting to do this and you cant do it everywhere...

bless is too much risk and not enough reward, it's garbo

That's what I'm feeling. as stated above you can certainly make use of it under specific circumstances, but there's really no point when its so dangerous and you'll end up taking damage trying to heal.

It's a really interesting idea. Could work with some tweaks. Alas, as it stands, you're right to ignore it.
