Having a rough time getting the Paladin to 90% armor.

I think specifically to infuriate me, I hit 89%, but wasn't at negative speed. After several runs, I still can't do it. Paladin is at level 147, but the rng just won't give me enough armor relics. I tried using multiple Killer Frosts, but things die too fast for freeze to matter.

Any tips?

Or maybe the dev could like, rejigger this requirement? Cause I love the Paladin, but I am really tired of chasing this last unlock.

have you used boss souls to block out unwanted upgrades? I feel that was the only thing I needed to do, and I had about 90% of the unlocks in the game at that point

I was pondering using one of the constellations that limit how many weapons you have. That seems to force it to give more artifacts. But I'll try that out too.

Ok, got it, and the COMBO WENT ABSOLUTELY WOMBO!
For anyone else having this problem, use the Leo Constellation. It'll limit your upgrade options to secondary weapons, passives, and relics. From there, take a Living Chainsaw and a Cursed Sword. Or just two Cursed Swords if you want. Follow your dark, soon to be indestructible heart. Why? The Chainsaw never stops killing and the sword has Imbue, making it stronger with every kill. For bonus madness, take a pair of Werewolf bones for passives. They also have Imbue. Grab everything that slows you down and adds armor. Banish anything that isn't useful, as per BORN2DIE's advice. And then? Just rampage until you hit 90%.

Also, and I'm not sure if I triggered some weird bug or what, but bosses just died in this run. I didn't kill them, and I don't think the wolves did either. But die they did.

I might use this build for the rest of the game...

use 1-2 killerfrosts and a weapon with slow, then get the rat familiar which has infection, so you freeze an enemy, the rat kills them and insta freezes every enemy in the horde i easy hit 90% armour and i can ramp camp and become basically immortal, if you want to be even tankier take holy water hose for the bless and knockback
