Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot

Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot

Normal Mode - My Build
Hey all,

In order to avoid a lengthy post, I uploaded 3 videos of my build to Youtube. Link below. The whole thing is in 3 parts at 12 minutes smth each. First few minutes have no sound but I just wanted to show, especially newcomers how you can tackle up to 200 runs or more with certain builds.

Advisor: I have already accumulated 5605 rune points and several hundreds of gem. Therefore, my skill tree is fleshed out. I did this by building all this up in Easy Mode because in Easy Mode you will not get punished with the "Game over" screen but instead just lose 10 runs of progress. My intention is to show the negative reviews that this game does have depth but it also takes patience to get there. Do not expect to tackle 200 runs on the hardest difficulty right away, you will be punished. Try easy, build a nice skilltree and fleshed out runes and eventually the hardest difficulty will be just as easy.

My Build shortly:

1 Knight (might become a Paladin later) - Golden Set
2 Warriors using Stormblade (either combine 3 Warblades or stormshards, doesn't matter)
3 Healers ( running Djinn Set and from my experience the best healer set)
1 Supporter (running Banner of Hope) might switch all Healers to banners later
1 Warpriest (yes, he is powerful, most kills each time, trust me but transition into Warpriest only with a Veteran Dwarf and not too early to avoid disappointment)
2 Mages - This one contains Dwanli Dragonborn who comes with the Avatar of Fire set (Veteran that should be picked at run 100 as the freebie) and one other Mage, in my case Thunder but I'd suggest Ice Mage with Winter Staff.

Finally, my impression is that you should have various types of damage and not just 1 or 2, like Fire and Ice. My damage types are Thunder, Holy, Fire, Ice and I might be adding Dark later when replacing 1 Warrior to become a Reaper.

I am somewhat bothered that by changing weapons or using sets Physical Damage disappears because it would be nice to still have Physical Damage as well.

In case you have questions, feel free to ask.

Cheers!

crafting recipes were bugged. you now need the correct items to forge stormblade or other craft only items. iirc the ingame patchnotes list all avaiable crafting recipes
I am currently at 160 on my first normal game and I found it pretty easy so far. I do a ton of area damage using explosive arrows on 4 dwarfs and I push back the enemy’s with one tank and one tornado (max Manareg+ Wisdom) dwarfs. It’s kinda broken how much damage the arrows do.

Single target is a problem.
