Hey Rukashu, either as drops or as you said by fusing or upgrading these with materials (Mythrils). May I ask at what run and difficulty you are currently playing?

The normal strategy is earn money, reroll shop, reroll dwarves, buy gear, upgrade gear etc. But first and foremost, have a formation, better than one = 2 which is max. It will grant you buffs. Organize the skill tree, focus on main stats, do not spread out skill points early. Why am i telling you all this? Because in the end it is not a single weapon that will make your dwarves survive (this is rather a min max at "end-game") but rather the whole package. Formation, skill point distribution, right profession (powerful ones are Warpriest and Cannonier) etc

A few ways to improve Dwarves:
  • Level them up by fighting battles OR using Beer in the Tavern, they get stat bonuses each level up based on 1. Profession(Tank/Rogue/Mage/etc.) and 2. Artifact Items (Poison Vial for Dex, Tome of Insight for Intelligence, etc.). Make sure you have the right Artifacts equipped when the Level increase occurs to get the added stats!
  • Weapons and Armor have a quality rating (Normal/Good/Rare/Epic/Legendary/Mythic/Mythic+) which increases their base stats as quality increases. You can increase the quality by using the Forge to combine 3 Mythril of the correct type with the gear you wish to upgrade and pay the cost.
  • Make sure to have the right stats on each piece of gear to optimize their damage; for example put INT or WIS bonuses on a Mage staff, not STR!

rly? WarpriesT? i tried themn and didnt find any use for them tbh. Why u find them so strong?
Be aware of biomes, they decide the stats your weapons give. Gained loot is random, if you forge you can reroll to get max stats (highlighted when available).

Maybe because I have been playing on Easy from the very start, just trying to learn everything before I go on harder difficulties. My Warpriests usually have the highest damage and most kills, apart from the Dragonborn Mage (Fire). Just from experience. Maybe it is different on normal or hard, dunno.

I'm playing on normal mode and start to struggle at around 180 victories. My setup to victory 180 is 2 - 3 Priest with Druid Set (you can get that with a relative low shop level. I think around lvl 8 - 10). Then 5 - 6 Warrior/Knight/Paladins, basically tanks and last and most important 1 - 2 Archers with Bow of Wrath AND Explosive Quiver. These guys pump out insane damage. If you're lucky (crowded enemies with no long range attacks) and your Archers have a high DEX skill they reach 100k damage in around 10 seconds. They shred everything.

The problem on higher victory level is their survivability and the same goes for my squishy Priests. So I'm currently figuring out how to make them stronger (craft items with good resistances plus more points in STA) or to go full Warprist + Knight setup.

But trust me, with this setup you will reach victory level 165 without any problems. And don't forget to get new dwarfes, preferable Veterans if you gamble enough. Get rid of the old ones in the tavern, equip the new ones so they have the prefered class assigned PUT ARTIFACTS on them and ONLY THEN use the beer to level them up. F.e. for my tanks I use 2 Trolltooth Necklace for the leveling process. That means for each level they get in the tavern they get 2+1 (class attribute) STR & 2 STA. So at level 40 they have an additional 120 STR and 80 (800 HP) STA. I'm also concidering using a Paladin class to get 1 STA + 1 WIS for the class attribute. That makes for a lvl 40 dwarf additional 120 STA + 80 STR + 40 WIS. But for the Paladin you need a high shop level for 2 parts of the paladin set, I think lvl 15 or 16, and the correct points in the skill tree for the other 2 parts of the set - They cost 5k gold each.

Good luck

upgrade your shop to unlock better equipment , improve via mytril , reforge 3 items into a new random one and hire better dwarves

i play on hardest difficulty and warpriest sucks ass at least for me highest i got was 150. and beat 2 raid bosses. for me Beastmaster is the top dps followed by firemages. Also 3 support banners are healing crazy amounts
I like 3 2H melee (warrior, warpriest, reaper) for Berserker formation,
3 archers or cannoniers for Ranger formation,
3 supports for Bannerlords formation,
and 1 flex spot of druid for direct heals, or djinn for shields, or mage for more fire.

If you use Hot-tempered veterans, and hot coals, and a fire mage, you can get Burning Legion formation as well.

4 formations at once
With Wise veteran passive, and lots of Meditation from the rune circle, a support could pop off the shortest banner ultimate every second, healing whole party for 10% of their (stamina-dedicated) health pool while also buffing mana regen

what setup did you use for your beastlord and how far did you get?
every Bloodlust rune together is +128% damage to bleeding. that is very strong for Beastmasters.

add at least 1 warrior w dwarven set for axe throw. guaranteed bleed aoe every sub-second.

the beasties themselves 50% bleed on normal hits, guaranteed bleeds on their ultimates (500 mana).
