Okay thank you - I will give that a try
About the limit on the sprites, there would be a quite huge work to do because all the battalions/squadrons levels formations are set for a 200 max men. The game use a file called drills.csv to determine the position of every single sprite in the formation. So we should add 800 new positions to every low level formation. But the thing is that now you should also reduce sprites scale (both soldiers and vegetation) and buildings in order to keep the right frontage of the troops (at the moment they are 6 times bigger IIRC) and a good looking between soldiers and the environment. You should also increase the vegetation density because of you have them smaller, they cover less the terrain.
All in all, nothing that is impossible but very hard to do at the moment.
Conversely, I think that having the possibility to show vegetation at longer distances could be possible now because everyone could set the right value based on how powerful is his pc.
Good suggestion about tooltips!
