What the hell is with the acronym in front of it? Is the game really supposed to be called 'Devil may Cry - Devil May Cry,' ooor, what? Seriously, I'm completely effin' baffled.

DmC: devil may cry is supposed to be a pun on its own acronym and the common usage while denoting it as a reboot title simultaneously.
If you're confused about how to acronym in, just capitalize D and C and leave m uncapsed.
in this case, we just call it DmC and leave it at that. whereas other titles we call dmc1, dmc2, dmc3 and dmc4 respectively.
But yeah, the acronym is NT's little pun on the common usage of acronyms in reference to devil may cry on forum boards and whatnot.
