DmC - stuck in Mission 7

In mission 7 Nephilium, gate is not opening. I mean red sign is not appearing so I can break it with Devil's Arbiter.
It did open once for the 1st time. then I stopped playing it. took a break of 4 days. after that a wild update of 1.5gb downloaded by steam. When I got back to that level the red sign stopped appearing hence I'm STUCK :(
Please help me. I don't want to start from the scratch.

Thanx for replying. actually I needed to activate Eryx. then that red sign appeared & I broke the door with it. I was drunk when I opened it for first time & I forgot when I was sober. :P
