Dante vs Vergil (discuss who's more powerful)

i just finished the game and in my personnal opinion i hates they splited again but thats something i knew would happen, anways ! as for what i saw in the last fight vergil seemed to have more control of his nephilim abilities my favorite one (can teleport around in secs) while dante doesnt have to much power as a nephilim besides devil trigger wich i believe to be a godly skill my conclusion is that they both are awsome but im more inclined to play as vergil in the upcoming DLC also i would like to see him as a playable character in the bloody palace DLC

Vergil's strong suit is his intelegience not his rationality or physical strength, while dante excels in his rationatiliy and physical strength and his ability to adapt to new enemies. If you think about it vergil had dante do all the dirty work while he was typing away at a computer -.-

Why are you reading the game hub if you haven't finished the game? It's only natural that people want to discuss the story.

Dante is like rage. powerful and overwhelming where as virgil is like determination strong and foucsed but not as powerful as rage in terms of just sheer power. Although Virgil could beat dante not in a one on one stright up fight.

In the reboot it seems dante is stronger overall. Virgil is faster and smarter.

In DMC3 you fight vergil a couple of times (3 i think) and the first 2 times virgil wins and is stronger. But in the end Dante gets stronger and you beat him.

Yeh virgil should be available in BP after the dlc comes out from what i have read.

dante beats virgil multiple times and eventually kills his devil trigger form Nero Angelo in the cannonical history of dmc, so dante is stronger.

Vergil is stronger because Dante has weakness of conscience, if the ending had been the other way around rest assured Vergil would not have hesitated to kill Dante.
