Nasty Bug Mission 9

After i get the devil trigger, i see the wormhole thingy animation and then i get a white screen, i can hear dante swinging his sword and i hear the guns. if i move around alittle i fall down somewhere and i respawn rigth before i have to jump two times over the gaps and get the devil trigger but i have it allready so the game gets me nowhere, if i quit and relaod my checkpoint controls dont work at all and only atl+f4 gets me out of the game, restarted the mission 5-6 times and everytime the same. checked the files via steam and everything is okay, just happend after the update today. plz help

I just had this happen to me as well. I've played through the game a few times and it's never happened before. I guess it's just something that's been introduced in this last patch and really hope they fix it as I can't progress at all.

Honestly, bought the game yesterday, now at mission 16 (no bugs noticed at all)

your specs seem very high end so its not hardware related, your not the only one having issues, I might not have the same problem as you but after the latest patch the game has been giving me strange lag and stuttering. you can try this as its helped me a few times when the game got stange, go into my documents folder, thern go into my games folder and click on unrealengine3. then click devilgame folder and the config folder. delete the devilengine.ini and then restart the game, this should clear all previous settings and reset them to defaults.

!!!FIXED!!!!

Here is what i did, first i lowered all settings to the minimum, 640x480 and windowed. Then i used the CPU (I7) and not the GPU (GTX 670M)of my laptop. Started mission 9 from the start and played throuth everything till the devil trigger, i watched the cutscene with dantes mother this time but i don't think this has anything to say because i skiped all others before. Anyway i defeated the enemys with devil trigger and finaly i'am back at limbo. YEAHHH hope this helps any1

Whatever you did, only setting everything to low wasn't the key. How did you disable the GPU?

Not sure how to do it in a normal PC but i can select it in my nvidia settings which chip to use, playing on laptop tho

I got a problem with MIssion 12 Under Siege I have killed all enemies even monkeys but after killing the monkeys nothing happened I saw some walkthroughs it appears that the floor centre should make me go below. I do not know what to do I verified Integrity restarted game played in minimal settings even in windows mode! I will try to uninstall hope that works. Oh yea I can select on of the GPU but its not recommended because INTEL is used for UNITY & Java & normal display of desktop. It switchs to RADEON when a game that uses DirectX is launched.
