How is this game running on PC?
Here is my spec:
i7 quad core @2.2 Ghz
6750m 1GB
How can I run this game? Is it possible to get 30+ FPS with graphic better than Xbox's?

You should get 40+ fps on high, maybe with or without AA. And yes, it will look better than the xbox version :)

Thank you.
I heard its using Unreal 3 engine, so I might get decent frames with AA off.

I think it should run well for you, the optimization in DmC is exceptional.

I got really good framerate with Ultra graphics using only a Dual Core @ 1.2 Ghz, Nvidia 210M graphics card, and 4.1 Gbs of RAM. The Unreal 3 engine is very forgiving

Good to hear that.
Unreal 3 does not require strong spec to run and is not even dated after all these years.

Tell That to Batman Arkham City :D That game requires a monster pc to run well at max settings And that one is also with Unreal Engine 3 But with major difrence it is runing DX11 it has tesselation and other exra features it's the only game I have seen to cranck up a gtx 570 Gpu dedicated to Physx to 65% Gpu load And also with 2 other Gtx 680 in SLI was geting like arownd 90-100 fps like that but if you take out the Physx dedicated Gpu the frames wore droping to 65-70.

Well i have this PC:

Motherboard:Z68A-D3H-B3
CPU:Intel Core-i5 2400 3.1GHZ
Ram:HYPER-X KINGSTON 8GB DDR3 1600MHZ
GPU:Gigabyte GTX 660Ti Windforce O'ced Version 2GB
HDD:Seagate 1TB SATA III
Power Supply:Thermaltake 750 W

It runs very very nice on ULTRA with HD TEXTURES,HD SHADOWS and HD Antialiasing with an average of 150-180 fps at 1920x1080 res.If your card btw is stronger than a GTX460 or around it you should be able to max it out but probably without the antialiasing setting.I'm telling you this because on max a GTX460 without antialiasing can reach 80-110 fps on average.

NOW THATS what i call a PC PORT.

I have Core i5 2500k 3,3ghz 12 GB DDR3 1600 MHZ MSI GTX 560 TI TWIN FRONZ II OC 2 GB. I played it on max settings with HD textures HD shadows and HD Antiliasing in 1280x1024 and got more than 100 fps. One of the best pc versions ever made QLOC(the polish company that made pc version) did a amazing job!!

I think the recommended requirments are a bit more than you need. I have a Phenom II 965 and a 6950 and I get over 150fps with everything maxed. It runs ridiculously good.

i think this isone of the best looking ports i seen and it is well optimized !! a lot of devs should ask this guy how there were able to achieve such a good performance port ! congrats to the team who made this game !!

QLOC is a awesome developer! They are the guys who make pc versions of SSF4AE SFXTK&REORC all of then are perfect. They a very small developer located in Poland that since 2011 capcom uses to make pc versions of their games. It is thanks to them that now we are getting pc versions of most capcom games and they are awesome too!

Unreal 3 does not require strong spec to run and is not even dated after all these years.
That depends entirely on what they're doing with the modules, and how they optimize the functions. But like ^ said up there, DmC is well optimised (on all platforms). In the sense that the framerate is completely stable through all the areas, whether you're hitting 32fps, or if you hit the v-sync at 60hz, etc. No framedrops during gameplay, or when moving to new areas, and so on.

So even if you don't have overkill on the specs, this game plays great. ...For a typical game on the Unreal 3 engine, it's, er.., uniquely well programmed.
doublechocochip Feb 14, 2013 @ 1:48pm
The game is incredibly well optimized. Polish gaming companies ftw.
Jonny Sparta Feb 14, 2013 @ 2:02pm
agreed, this game looks top shelf and runs perfect. I don't think I've seen a single glitch. I really like my cutting edge graphics and optimization, and in those departments this game left nothing to be desired. new dante was a little hard for me to swallow, but I'll take it for the gameplay, not bad for a reset. definitly recommend. CONTROLLER STRONGLY STRONGLY RECOMMENDED
