Keyboard or Controller?

for those who have already played through partially or full which do you reccomend to play the game with is it better with a controller or a keyboard?

I actualy wanted to try it on controller that I got from friend, but each time I get controller connected camera starts spinning around Dante like nuts in whole 360 constantly. So I just switched on keyboard (like I do on all mi other games)

This type of game is really more suited to a controller. Playing DMC with a keyboard is like playing an FPS with a gamepad.

This game works quite fine with keyboard and a mouse at least for myself... but i guess each of us play games how much we find em fit...

I didn't say it was impossible to play DmC with a keyboard and mouse. In fact, that was my entire point. It puts you at a disadvantage but is still perfectly playable; the same is true for an FPS with a gamepad.

I guess your right, i have a gamepad ,i will just play the first mission with each and see what i like and really? you guys can debate over anything, THIS IS WHY GAMERS HAVE SUCH A BAD MEDIA PRESENCE WITH ALL THIS CONSTANT FIGHTING ,PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO LEAVE THEIR HOUSES WHEN THEY SEE US WALKING DOWN THE STREET ....and they should be ,GAMER 4 LIFE WESTSIDE or eastside as long as u game . thnx for da help

Actually, this game is not like the other DMC games in terms of camera. In previous titles there was a fixed camera, and so for that style of play a gamepad is better if not required. However, in this type of gameplay where camera is not fixed a mouse really works better for managing angles and stuff. But, in the end its really up to you and what you prefer.

Finished this game all the way to DMD and HoH modes endings using Keyboard. Actually i played on keyboard all the way through DMC3/DMC4 too and maaan it was harder to get used to than keyboard controls of DmC. It seems to me in the end the choice of controler for this game (and not only this one) is all about what you're usually use to play such games and as for me it's keyboard (cause i have nearly zero exp playing on gamepad)
