encompasses six missions and one boss fight for mission five, then a remixed version of the first level.
good DLC though, i loved it.
playing as vergil requires more finesse than dante does, and he can't double jump, so be ready for that.
NT realized that even with demon and angel modes vergil couldn't fight them.
I already modded color enemies, that's not really the reason he doens't have bloody palace. It's just up to capcom to decide if they would like Ninja Theory to add Vergil a palace mode and not the other way around.
I did not enjoy playing Vergil vs Dante. I know its a matter of finesse, and personal play style, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. After playing the core version, comabt in VDF seemed really slow, and supplemented more by waves and waves of spawning enemies, rather than variation in scenery or strategy.
There's one (1.5?) boss fight(s). While it was fun, I would have enjoyed more of them, rather than the aforementioned lolz more mobs!
The story was entirely predicatble after the first ten minutes or so. I personally enjoyed the cutscenes, portrayed in a "comic book" like style.
I'd give it a 7/10, if you really enjoyed the core version, then go for it, if you were just meh on DMC, then you can certainly pass on VDF
