short as hell, but yes, you should get it.
encompasses six missions and one boss fight for mission five, then a remixed version of the first level.
good DLC though, i loved it.
playing as vergil requires more finesse than dante does, and he can't double jump, so be ready for that.

it is very good, a lot of replayability, if you enjoyed vergil from previous games, although no bloody palace

yeah, no bloody palace for vergil, but that's only due to the color coded enemies.
NT realized that even with demon and angel modes vergil couldn't fight them.

~7 Hours on all difficulties.

It's excellent, if you like messing around with the combat system, Vergil quite well thought out and very fun to play.

I already modded color enemies, that's not really the reason he doens't have bloody palace. It's just up to capcom to decide if they would like Ninja Theory to add Vergil a palace mode and not the other way around.

I for one, enjoy the trick system, being able to avoid single strikes while standing in place is godly.

It is definitely worth it. If only for the entirely new combat system. Only problem people seem to have is the cut scenes are done in a comic book style fashion, probably to save money because DMC goes all out on their cut scenes.

its worth it but wait until friday or saturday for GMG if they gonna sale it sometimes GMG and steam have the same sale game its much cheaper there :)

For the money it's definitely worth it. It's longer than most DLC but the visual style for the cutscenes is drastically different (it goes for a comic book effect which was obviously cheaper to do but it was done well). Vergil plays well and the story is quite good and you gain a lot of information on his motivations.

Although it probably doesn't have Dante (or Vergil) half naked any where in it, I'm sure it's worth it. Been waiting for an excuse to buy the DLC and this sale is it =D

People here mostly agree it was good, I personally was not a fan.

I did not enjoy playing Vergil vs Dante. I know its a matter of finesse, and personal play style, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. After playing the core version, comabt in VDF seemed really slow, and supplemented more by waves and waves of spawning enemies, rather than variation in scenery or strategy.

There's one (1.5?) boss fight(s). While it was fun, I would have enjoyed more of them, rather than the aforementioned lolz more mobs!

The story was entirely predicatble after the first ten minutes or so. I personally enjoyed the cutscenes, portrayed in a "comic book" like style.

I'd give it a 7/10, if you really enjoyed the core version, then go for it, if you were just meh on DMC, then you can certainly pass on VDF
