This game is what you want, really. I loved the old titles, but this one here is mere perfection.
Have fun and good luck nailing it.
This DMC is mad mad fun in my opinion, but as far as difficulty goes, its a serious tone down from the last 4. Im not disappointed whatsoever, but I get what your looking for.
I think they just re designed it so much that they just gave you so many options, and you can really utilize the hell out of them if your a good button masher.
I have loved DMC and this is by far my favorite bceause its just fun.
Is the game at least hard in Dante Must Die ?
I'd be fine with that...
The enemys have full hp and you die after the first hit ;)
Son of Sparta is pretty hard.
But for that, you have to play through the game one time.
the diffuclty is a joke compared to 3
but its still worth playing i preffuer the combat of 1'3 and 4 but the combat in dmc is still really good
In DMC 5 on Dante must die, the first run through I got 15 perfect scores (SSS) out of 20.
So if you're searching for difficulty, this may not be for you. From an expert.
Just to note, Hell and Hell uses the hard/very hard prefix. It's difficult, but if you already hunted for SS ranks in Dante Must Die then it's nothing since in DMD in order to get a perfect score you cannot take a single digit of damage, except in DMC4 and 5. They removed the damage taken value.
Well... how well do you think you would have done on DmC if you had never played 250+ hours of DMC3?
For me, this game is harder than DMC 1. If you like hack and slash games, the difficulty with this one is alright. But if you have no life and played DMC3 300 hours straight, MAYBE it's not for you. Devil May Cry 3 is considered by fans to be the best and the hardest too, but I never played this one so I cannot tell.
I've never been a fan of the franchise anyway, but this reboot is awesome. I did finish Devil May Cry 1 on the hardest difficulty setting back in the day and found it easier than the reboot. Devil May Cry 2, I lost interest after a few hours and Devil May Cry 4, same story as DMC 2, I was bored pretty fast. I need to try DMC3 one day...
