Game freezing
Hey guys,

So after a few hours playing DmC the game has started to freeze for 5 seconds or so a few times every minute. I played for about 10 hours or so with no issues. I've tried lowering the graphics settings, etc...but as I said, it hasn't given me any issues till now. Any suggestions?

I had the same issues, after updating windows 7 to windows 10. Changed it back and it worked fine. May be incompatible drivers with windows 10. I hope it helps!

Thanks guys, I tinkered with it and it's working fine again. Much appreciated!

Please, can you expain it better. I have same problem here, but can't understand it well how to fix this.

In the end I think it was my computer overheating...but if you look up in google there are a few ways to fix the freexing problem I assume you're having.

And I can't find any single expain about this. Sorry if I'm disturbing you few months after last reply on this tread, but I can't find anywhere some "close" answer, lol... Funniest fact, I have 70 hours of DmC without any single problem, and then, when I wanted to play it a bit ("for the old days"), it starts to crash every few seconds for few seconds. Then I got Vergil Downfall, and same problem appeared, also after playing 2 hours without freezes. I tried to turn on V-Sync and that solved the problem, but... for another 90 minutes. Now I don't know what else to do. :steamsad:

did you check your gpu temps?

Have you recently updated to windows 10? It seems to have messed a lot of people around and some had to go back to 7 just to play the game...What about msi afterburner? That's what I was going to do next when it suddenly 'fixed' itself. It was very frustrating, know all about it. It's a great little game when you're in the mood for hackn'lash:)

I don't know meaning of short terms u are talking about here. >.<
I got a lot of updates on windows, but I haven't seen anything from 2010, except some office updates. Is there step by step explain how to fix this. I'm getting more and more nervous about this, I want to play entire DmC again, but I can't... :steambored:
