I hate it to remember Button Combos, is this game for me?
It's not like I'm too dumb, but remembering button combos is work. I don't want to work while playing.

You don't have to, you can enjoy the game by just smashing the buttons at random too, alternating between weapons. The button combos just helps you get a better score, but is not required to pass levels.

And the score helps me to get more orbs which makes me stronger, iirc. So... missing out on orbs = missing out on upgrades = weakness = fail.

Is that right?

DMC is 99% reflexes, all the move inputs are extremely simple (e.g roll stick backward to forward while pressing attack for Calibur in DMC4, in DmC you Stinger by double tapping forward and attacking, then mash attack for Million Stabs) stringing them together in the way you want is the main part of the gameplay

Watch this ♥♥♥♥ I found on Reddit and you'll know what you can do (mute the edgy music)

Hmm.... I just looked at this moves list and: Nope. Not for me.

Edit: I mean... look at the Dark Souls games and alike. Like The Surge.
Incredible deep engaging fighting.... totally without any kind of combo, moves or strings.

That's a different game lol

Anyway Dark Souls has cancelled rolls, deadangles, you can play DMC with just the basic weapon attacks if you want

But I think Darksiders would be more your speed, at least 1 and 2

This game is not for you if you don't like complex combos, yes.

You mentioned DS - yesss, great series, almost no combos to remember, tech-based pve and pve. Stick to that if you like it more.
Casual gamer still ok to do it, u can still win. It just take time.

To change weapons you use the mouse wheel, roll down to change from Arbiter to Eryx, up to change angel weapons, middle mouse to change gun.

Hold down E to change to demon weapon for as long as you hold it down, or tap 2, and it'll stay in demon form

If controller, d-pad to change weapons
