Game doesn't launch

When i hit play my steam picture border goes green, and i'm "Playing DmC" but nothing happens. CTRL+ALT+DEL gives me a list of process running and DmC is among those with 0% CPU usage and minimum RAM usage.

This happens with Fable Anniversary too. I've checked my chace.

I have this same problem, I played the game once and now it hasnt been opening... I got it during the sale and I havent been able to open it since friday...

Nevermind, I had to delete some aspects of my virus protector... I'll have to get a new one that allows steam to play certain games...

What kind of antivirus do you guys have? I turned off my AVG and it's still not working.. jsut bought it, i click play then just says "running" but never does anything.. extremely frustrating. My comp's specs can definitely handle this game.

With AVG you need to go to options > Advanced Settings > Temporarily Disable AVG > Disable for 5 mins > Disable AVG firewall (is a check box)

every once in a while DMC still won't load the first try so just open task manager scroll down to DMC and end task then try to restart the game.

I've just had this happen too, wierd thing is it's my second time installing the game, I played it to completion ages ago, and reinstalled it yesterday to play it again, but this happened. I have avg too, but I had it the last time I played it, so I think one of the game's updates broke it

Forgot to update this, i removed AVG from my PC, the game now launch with no more problems.

Forget messing with AVG - the game just doesn't launch. Report to Steam.

I rolled back my Nvidia display driver (MS surface book with dedicated graphics) and now it works.

Guys. problem. Bought DMC on sale. I have win 11. And game does not lauch. Game tries to activate MS Redist Package 2010 and then nothing happens. if i launch this game through folder .exe then shows error "0xc000007b" Please help me(((

У меня было точно так же, только на Вин10. Все перепробовал, помогла только переустановка Винды на чистую, до этого стояла кастомная сборка.

Same Issue here. I didn't find that file in My Documents, there is No folder for DMC
did u find something?
