Mundus Bloody Palace busted?

I mean, I'm a decent player, by no means one of the best, but I have SSS ranked DMD and H&H with both Dante and Vergil. Yet, for some reason, I just get wrecked by Mundus in Bloody Palace. I've gotten to him with ease 4 times, but just keep dying. His AoE seems to stretch way further than in M19. Just to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong, I went to DMD M19 and dodged his attacks for 15 minutes straight to get every single pattern down.
Have anyone noticed any difference or am I just very unlucky and end up choking?

it happen the same to me, literally i have SSS ranked in most difficulty missions and yet, mundus can beat you in one or two hit. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ part is that the boss isnt really hard and is a fking bad boss fight, is not like WOW crazy boss fight.

I practice the boss fight like 30 minutes such like you and i find out that if you do angel boost in the air, you can evade him easily. But well, i ended up dead and the first thing that i did after that is searching someone like me with the same issue, so i found you xd

Dude, Mundus BP haunts me to this day, i'm glad i'm not the only one, like, what the heck is up with him in BP specifically?! God, Vergil must be a nightmare in it then, every now and then i open the game to give a shot but i always get bodied at Mundus.
