DmC Devil May Cry

DmC Devil May Cry

Statistiche:
game is super laggy
i can't seem to play this game without lag it's almost unplayable. all movements sounda and graphics are stuttery.
is there a solution to this? is my computer to weak to run this.

I've tried to lower the graphics to medium no dice. neither did it work setting it on low still laggy. i wasn't even battling anything just walking around the map.

my specs are:

amd ryzen 5 1500x

msi geforce gtx 1060 3gb

ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400

It's fine for me to start with, but gets progressively laggier over 10-15 minutes, with sound stuttering. I did a bit of poking around, and it's related to wdf01000.sys, which (per Google) suggests it might be a USB device conflict. Some unplug-test-replug is next on the list, I think.

ya its exactly as you described is there a solution to this? does this happen to you with other games?
Try the following: Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings > untick all options with "Configuration Support", there should be 3 of them: PS4, Xbox and General. I'm not sure it can fix the problem, but at least it should remove some extra internal layer of controller support that Steam may enforce into your games.
I've fixed it for me - and it was a USB device conflict. I had two controllers plugged in (one fight stick, one 360 controller). When I unplugged the fight stick and loaded up DMC, no stutter at all.
Do you mean that you have to unplug and replug each time you want to play? Or on each reboot? That's not exactly proper solution.
No, I just meant that if both the fight stick and the 360 controller are plugged in when I start DMC, I get the stutter. At the moment I'm not playing any fighting games, so I'll just leave that stick unplugged for now.

It's not an ideal solution, but I'm guessing an ideal solution would actually require messing with the code of the game, and I can't do that. For now, I'm content with a solution that allows me to play the game without problems and requires about three seconds to plug the other controller in if I want to play something else.
So did you try to disabling controller support options in Steam settings?
I just checked and they weren't enabled anyway, so pretty sure that wasn't the problem.
my pc specs are i7-10700f 32gb ram and rtx 3060 my game runs perfectly smooth but when i alt+tab my pc is laggy. dying light 2 or even tarkov doesn't have that problem. any ideas? (it wasnt like that before)
