Essential mods?

...the original "bunch" of mods for this game no longer exist, which is unfortunate as there are more problems that need fixing in this game than the post gets to. Anyone know of alternate sources for these mods? I'm thinking of the multiple angel dash mod and anything that might get rid of color-coded enemies in the base game, etc.

Link doesn't work, unfortunately. I'm new to Dropbox, but I'm guessing you're linking to your personal dropbox folder. If I do the same, it takes me to my "DmC mods" subfolder inside my Dropbox folder, which obviously doesn't exist.

I'd imagine there's a way to share the file with others, same as you do in Google Drive, iCloud, etc.?

I've had some luck perusing the devilmaycry.org forums, but most of the mods on offer there are just texture mods and/or no longer have working d/l links. Plus the ones that are gameplay changers I'm not sure how well they work.

I did. I've installed it, but can't confirm if it works just yet (haven't even played to the first boss yet). IIRC, the OP and others said in an earlier thread there might be an issue using it with "the Steam version." I'm 99% sure the game was only ever released on Steam, but I don't know its release history.

The mods I've found and installed (but have yet to test) from that forum include
- All weapons damage color-coded enemies
- Trickster-style Angel Dash + faster Rainstorm

I'm not sure what other mods have been released and/or are noteworthy. That said, these resources should help others also looking to tweak their game:
