Trouble performing the move "Stinger and A trillion stabs".

It shows the sword (2x) then press x but it only works some times. Any help is appreciated.

edit: seems like i have to tap the left stick up twice in order to perform the move is that normal?

Quickly tap whatever you have set for movement towards the enemy two times in succesion and during the second tap hit your melee button for Stinger and keep mashing it for Trillion Stabs. That's how it's supposed to work.

Yeah that how I got it working, thought maybe i was doing it wrong since it felt off. Thanks though
