No longer playable from the United States of America?

I had over 100 hours on this game, spent a fair bit of money on it around a year ago. Took a break, came back and tried to log on. It no longer loaded in via Steam and requires a log in from another source one of which is Facebook. Logged in via Facebook, clicked on my character, then received a pop up letting me know this game is no longer playable from my region. Checked discussions, and found a few related topics. Clicked on the games main page link outside of Steam and found out in July of 2024, this game no longer supports play from the U.S.A.. How the heck is this game still on Steam (An American Company) when it bans players from playing from America? I hope the devs on Steam see this and remove this title asap.
