Can someone explain the RNG in this game to me?

Enjoying the game so far after 6 hours or so, but something seems off on the RNG.

I cannot get the last two pets on the second map. Last few runs I've had 4 cages and every single pet is just from the same pool of 5, even sometimes the same as the one i am currently using.

Is there a secret or something special you have to do to get the last two pets to appear?

Also with the recipes, i just can't seem to get the last ingredient to pop no matter what. Last time i went 10 levels without ever seeing the last ingredient i needed (needed dynamite and had a space left for attack slots). In the end i levelled the other 3 attack ones i needed all the way to level 8 without even seeing dynamite and when i finished that the choice i got on the next level forced me to a different ingredient so i was locked out then. This seems to happen time and time again and i didn't know whether again there is a special way you have to do this or a certain order?

Hi, there's no special way to unlock pets or get toppings to complete recipes, it's all completely random.

Thanks for reply, do the pets all have the same chance to appear? Maybe I am just super unlucky.

I find it is very random, I have unlocked all the pets, my strategy I would go straight to the cage at the end of the paths, if they ain't the right ones, end game and try again, I dunno if this counted to the game play total but I just wanted the pets, as I was making a guide for them, was a lot faster then playing the stage in full I believe, though I could time it, that could be an interest video, "Getting all pets - stage completed vs skip - timed" which is shorter? who knows lol

Yeah that's what I ended up doing dude. Now onto the grind for kills and games 🙄, 37hrs in so far and not even at 50% for kills 😭
