Game crashes

Hey guys, i just bought fs 2013, but everytime i join and/or create a sp game it crashes on the loading screen :(

i tryed that, and it still doesnt work.. its says: giant engine has stopped working :(

i was getting that myself my prob was graphics were set to high for my xps 1701

so you're saying that the prob may be that the settings is set 2 high and i just need to lower them?

start with the lowest settings possible, test the game, and slowly work your way up to the best settings without crashing.

it works on the lowest , but then i get extreme lagg which doenst make any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense.. wow what a waste of money

make sure your graphics card is being used if you have an Nvidia Optimus it doesnt load farming Simulator 2013 in the high end GPU you have to force it. Set FarmingSimulator2013Game.exe to use high end graphics and the loading should be fine. The folder location if your on windows 7 is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Farming Simulator 2013 unless you changed it.

I know this is true because when I first started when I kept trying to load anything it kept crashing.

If you go into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Farming Simulator 2013, and find FarmingSimulatorGame.exe, just set the priority to high, and set it to run as administrator everytime you launch it. that worked for me, and ty Kravyn.

Doing all that, but it still crashes whenever I load mine, even on the tutorials. Also, how do I validate my game? (I know.. nooby xD)

I complained to the company about this problem and this is the reply I got. It didn't help me but it might work for you.

3. Click Local Files tab then Verify Integrity of Game Cache button.

the only other way unfortunatley to play is to pirate it but then you woudl be solo playing.

there is a big thread on there German forums about issues with this patch crashes low fps
