Controller Support

Does any one use a controller with this game? I've got a controller that works with my mac but it doesnt with the game, any tips or suggestions.
My controller is a Xbox 360 Afterglow.
Also I bought this game on the Mac app store before I had steam, I dont think it will but does that make a difference?

To be honest i personally wouldnt try using a Xbox controller as ive found there are too many different controls needed for it (frontloader was a huge SOB here - couldnt do it)

I use an official Xbox 360 Controller with my game and it works great. Be sure to go into options and configure the controller. Also, be sure that the controller is calibrated in windows and is turned on before you start the game otherwise it will not work. Also another issue I found is if the controller turns off while in the game you have to restart the game with the controller on. A few quirky issues but it works great otherwise.

I find that the controller is much easlier to use than all of the keyboard functions. For example, for a telehandler I use the left button + left stick to move the arm up and down and I use the right button + the left stick to extend the arm and pivot or open / close the tool. It also works great for the ES Limiter using Right button + A, X, B, Y for settings.

I have had no issues other than the ones listed above.

im sorry if i sounded a bit high and mighty about controllers, if you got it working the way you like then happy for you, just personally couldnt get it right for =)

hey doom i use a 360 pad and i configured the keys to work the frontloaders and the cat excivator and its mint.

Lol good for you mate, I just personally couldnt get used to it but ive got such a huge map (kernstadt = over 1000 hectares!!) ill have plenty of time to try it again while AI is working away (hate wasting time grr)

lol i use fendt 924 verio V3 tractors :) i had to sort the clip distance so it disappers wen u drive away from it to stop it lagging my game out though :D

I use a Logitek Rumblepad 2. Works great.

I use a Logitech Dual Action (I have 360 controllers) and it works great with the game.

haha, just kidding, still doesn't work. everything I've tried doesnt make a difference. as far as I can tell, the computer recongnizes it and recieves input. But FS refuses too.

May be a dumb question, but you did check wheel/gamepad under options correct?
