you can look in this place, but i want to advise you they have 8 page of tutorial with each 20 different sujet so, you have more than 160 tutorial to say you how to change this or that or how to make this or that,

it's can be possible you find more video they are made by german people, but even if don't understand anything, sometime just looking a people making it can help to understand how it's working..., you will need more week to look all Ha Ha Ha

if you want to make mods in the Farming simulator 2013, i don't suggest you to pay for a programs, begin by know if you love making mods before, so i will give you some link for free program...

1 - For making 3d, use Giant editor, you can find it in the folder of your game, so they are free...

2 - For working with the .XML, you can use wordpad they come with windows, so, they are free, or if you want some color in looking the code, i suggest you this program, and like the other they are free :

3 - to create or modify a .DDS, i sugest you paint.net, you can find it here and they are free :

4 - Program to create the .zip or to unpack it, i sugest you a program like the one you find here and they are free :

i don't think you need other thing for making mods in the Farming simulator...

ok, i think i have found the best thing for you they can very big help you on how to make mods, it's the site of the giant software and in this you can learn big big big thing on how moddling, they talk of all, scripting, xml, ect... ect...,

no?, you have never frustrated me?, i know my english are not well, i hope i have not writing something they can have other signification but no, they have no problem, i know trying making mods are a big job, and when we know nothing we don't know where to search Ha Ha Ha, i just try to give you all the information i can and i hope some of the information can help you to understand more of the thing..., and again you have not frustrat me, me too sometime i have problem and i ask question, and like we say, they have no stupid question in the life Ha Ha Ha,

and for andwering to your question about if we need more than one program, yes we need more programs because each program have her speciality, and it's because the giant editor use only the i3D. files, in other game you can have program they can make all, but it's more complexe too...,

or were you just interested about modding in general ?

Reason i say that is most people who create mods do it because there is something the want thats not available ... is there a particular mod you wanted or were hoping to make ?

Yes there is a specific mod im looking for. The I'm looking for is a 1946 J.I. Case Vac just like the one my dad and I restored a couple of years ago. I have won some trophes with it at tractor shows. I've got a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd. I've also got my tractor in the ANTIQUE POWER

i have not find one mods about the one you search, they have some similar but it's not the one like you want...,

other thing, i view i have forget to give you a link about how to make thing in 3d, so, i have make some search to try to find a good list of programs, they make people able to create objet in 3d and they are all free,

but i have not tested all, they have more hundred and it's depending of what you whant to do, but in this link you will be able to find all type of programing in 3d, so if you want to just begin and touch only to the basic they some, and if you want to make more professional thing they have other, ect...,

anyway, here is a good link they show you more free program, but just take care, because i have not all looked, sometime some compagny say her program are free and when you use it they ask you money to be able to have all the option of the program, it's not the thing i call free program but they have compagny they are ready to all to make money, but usually this site have very good reputation, and when they say they are free, it's usually because they are all free, anyway, take time to read the comment of other peole too, sometime it's help...

You can also get Help from signing upto Modding sites that feature mods for the game. Like FSModding.com, where they have a help section and how to's with certain areas of making mods with maps the coding etc. They Helped me when I started out and where very clear
