Error: Data files corrupt. Please reinstall application.

I just bought the game and everytime I try to run it the game brings up this error message "Error: Data files corrupt. Please reinstall application." I have deleted and reinstalled the game multipul times and each time ive verrified the integrity of the game cache nothing it working, please help!

Im having the same issue. it keeps asking to replace a profile path game.xml file with a newer game.xml file found in the program path. clicking eather yes or no gives me the files currupt error. also the CD key can not be found.

The CD Key is at the right of the Library Page for game..... When reinstalling you need to be sure to delete all of the game in the steam files...

Try deleteing from the property files where you verify too ... Oh sometimes your system pertection/ antivirous program will cause a probablem too... Found that out, using AVG and it didn't like a file so never let it run...had to temp disable it...

you should look do you have file named steamdata.dat file in your farming simulato 2013 files :D. started working when i gave it to my frend

I ended up just downloading it on my laptop putting it on an external drive and moved it to my desktop

How do i get it if i dont have it

1. Create notepad to common/farmingsimulator2013/ file
2. Write your cd-key to notepad
3. Save file as "steamdata.dat"
4. Have fun with frends at farming simulator 2013
