Giants editor?
I have been playing around with the giants editor, and have followed the tutorials to what I can see as what he says. But when I got to try it out and load the map in game. I gets stuck on the loading please wait.... screen and thats it. Does anyone know what my issue may be?

The same thing happens to me. But by restarting my computer and then patiently waiting it finally loads. also make sure you have the most current version of the editor whick I beleive is ver. 5.5.1. hope it works for you.

you must not have paid close attention to detail. the maps can not still be in zip format. you need to extract the map zip file so its nothing but a folder.

to do this right click the zip file select extract to zip name (what I do) it will automatically create a folder witht he same name as zip file in the zip then you go to that folder and open it up that way.

the map was not in zip format. As the turotrial said I opened and saved the map01.id3 file along with the unzipped sdkfiles into a folder and placed into the mods folder.

it could be a few things, it could be changes or mods u added to the map?

u should have unpacked the modMapSDK to start with, then by opening the map01.i3d file that is the default map in the editor found here...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Farming Simulator 2013\data\maps

once this is open in the editor u should extract the map with files to ....

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Farming Simulator 2013\sdk\modMapSDK\map

once u have done this u can then edit ur map.

wen u finished u should then zip up ur map by selecting all the files in...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Farming Simulator 2013\sdk\modMapSDK

wen u zipped up ur map then u can add it to ur mods folder and try ingame.
