best mowing set up
is there a great grass mowing set up that also collects wheat and other grain windrows?

yeah there is number of ways you can use the in game krone big x with the collecrection head this turns it in to chaff or use the large mulit head and turn stemed crops such as wheat in to chaff . or there is the mover mod thats mulit moving mod that allows you to mom the crops in to windrows. but fs uk has forgage towed harverts the blue one of two lets you chose grass or chaff .

ive found the 18m pottieger novadisc 1800mq mower on the front of my claas xerion with the krone zx550 rake on the back tweaked to 1000000L to be the best set up i can make. and it works beautifully at 17 mph!!! it works on grain fields as well.

For mowing, I use the Big M mod with the attach/PTO on the back and connect up a zx550 forage wagon edited up to 100000L as well. For picking up straw, I use Follow Me with the ZX550 forage wagon behind the harvester. I never use the chaff harvester on wheat or barley, only corn.

I use the same Big M mod with the attach feature and have no problems with it altho I'm not using any modded maps. The mod works fine in Westbridge Hills and Hagenstedt. There may be a mod map or another mod causing your issues. Check your log file.

More than likely it has to do with another mod you have. Try removing your mods temporarily and see if the Big M mod will work.

Mods are not always going to work with every other mod you choose to install, unfortunately that is the problem with using mods that aren't tested. That's why I get most of my mods from FS-UK.com or if I see a mod that I'm really interested in, I'll test it with the mods I currently already have.

I don't really care. i don't have cattle anyway. the only way i get money is canola and barley, also taters. And i try to get all 4 silos full of silge. SO i don't really have a use for a mower. so yeah
