invalid map/set<t> iterator
So, what does this warning mean? I just tried a new map, Fruechtparadies (I assume that means Fruit Paradise). It loads with several additional mods for equipment. When I opened it and played a bit everything looked fine, but when I tried to close the map, FS closed, without going back to the main menu, and the warning above came up. I deleted all the mods including the map and went back to the game. Everything worked OK. I reloaded just the map without the other mods, and the same thing happened with the same warning message. I did think to try loading another map, and it worked fine and the game closed fine.

So, I worry about what this is doing. Changes I made in the Fruit map were retained, so it at least appears to be working correctly, but the last thing I want to do is damage the game or other savegames.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

OK, I found an older thread that addressed this. It suggests deleting a particular building on this map with GE. I have edited the Hagenstedt map successfully with GE, but I've never been able to find one of the mod map files to edit. Can someone give me a clue about where these maps live?
Thanks.

I had this same problem with Holstein Valley and asked about it on the FS-UK forum on the mod support thread and never did get an answer. So there you go. This is why I use minimal mods.

Yeah, when I first started I tried FS-UK. Thought it was nice until I asked a question about a mod. With no explanation some power hungry kid deleted it and said the post was inappropriate. Would have been easier to tell me that there was a thread for every mod, and moved it there. Having said that, by isolating those comments to each different thread, it seemed to me no one ever read or responded to them. What would really be nice is to have a way to send your concerns to the designer.

Contacting the designer would be nice. I just played that map again and when that failure happened at the end I suddenly remembered why I deleted that map mod. Maybe an update in the near future on that map, hopefully. I like this one because of the way the pig styes are laid out. And they work to.
