Map mods and online
Hi guys, so i was wondering where do i get these new maps because when i try and join a multiplayer game i see a large selection of games with maps i dont own.

I also downloaded a mod which is in zip files, any idea where im supposed to extract it?

The maps would come from sites such as:
http://www.fs-uk.com/
http://www.ls2013.com/
http://www.modhoster.com/
http://www.farming-simulator.com/

And you rarely need to extract zip files. Only if their instructions specifically tell you to. (Example: The CAT Fleet Pack)

Thanks for the info, i think il just stick with http://www.farming-simulator.com as the rest look abit unsafe.

uk one is good, sorry when i said unsafe i meant more like easier to use like the .exe files as the zip files confuse me and i was getting more warnings from my security about the other sites and i also dont speak german or whatever it was, im not very good on computers, no disrespect to the other sites im sure they are great but just not for a noob like me.

Copy/pasting a zip file from your download folder to the mods folder is fairly easy.
Or alternatively downloading straight into the mods folder. Take out the middle man (the exe files) :-p

Modhoster might have some descriptions in german - but nothing that Google Translate won't solve mostly, and the rest of the site is english.

Ive been into my farm simulator files and cant find any folders named mods

You can find it in My Documents \ My Games \ Farming Simulator 2013 \ mods

1 more question are the older mods compatible with 13 such as a mod like 11, i get an error message saying cant find the folder, if so do i have to install it manualy?

No. FS2011 mods do not work with FS2013. Don't mix and match. You'll save yourself some headache and hassle.
