thoughts on new stuff

SO the new stuff is ok at best, the new ship that clones itself is useless. If it was self targeting or spawned next you firing in the same direction as you it be great. The game just feels slow now, and the difficulty jumps massively at the third stage. Still not having enough healing is still a run ender, tagged items don't seem to do anything and please bring back the guaranteed 3 drops on boss kill.
An idea to help with choice bloat, is to lock out some cards till you can deal that type of dmg, like not getting max corrosion cards till you have something that can deal corrosion.
Also, add a fifth option to pick from.

The old patch dealt with choice bloat perfectly, but now its just so dumb to play. Even tagged shops piss me off with the useless ♥♥♥♥ thats there.

For me it's the Paragon Tree, it's a terrible progression system where farming the cores is tedious as fu**. You need to play higher Threat levels to gain Skill Tree EXP faster, but you can't do that cause you don't have damage for it. I had 100% the game before update and even with full skill tree unlocked I feel like I started playing from the beginning. I seriously don't know what prompted these unnecessary changes. Update 3 just feels like changing things for the sake of change but not for the better,

same have had it at 100% even doing the annoying electric wall bs one at threat 50, since release. after release I had like a 50%ish bonus to weapon dmg after update 1 and the new skill tree I had 10 maybe 15% bonus, the next was 5%, now I have none or a few cause I didn't max all others branches first. Thinking a permanent double pick on 6 cards and an overall shop price reduction+scaling would help that and give ppl the threat 50 achievement if we have mastery levels

Yeah, new Paragon Tree might aswell not exist and it wouldn't change anything, since the upgrades aren't impactful whatsoever and it also takes ages to ugprade it.

Frankly the game has gone awful with the updates.
it started off as a fun, casual, pick up and play, power fantasy game, where you build up op builds and have a blast.
But its morphed into a lacklustre grindfest slog where you rely on insane RNG as you cant really tailor builds anymore.
